Biden invites Brazil’s Lulu to visit Washington in early February

WASHINGTON, January 9 (Reuters) – U.S. President Joe Biden invited Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lulu da Silva to visit Washington in early February, the White House said on Monday after the two leaders spoke by phone about the invasion of government buildings in Brasilia.

Supporters of far-right ex-President of Brazil Jair Bolsonaro on Sunday invaded The country’s Congress, Presidential Palace, and Supreme Court that reprise the assault on the US Capitol in January 2021 by supporters of former US President Donald Trump.
