Sep 20 (Reuters) – Chinese battery manufacturer Guoxuan High Tech Co’s (002074.СЗ) A US subsidiary is planning a development in Michigan that could attract up to $3.6 billion in investment and create 2,000 new jobs, the Detroit News reported Tuesday, citing sources. (t.ly/o9XS)
The report says Gotion Inc, a subsidiary of Guoxuan, will manufacture battery components at a yet-to-be-built plant in Michigan. This is expected to generate around 500 jobs initially and possibly up to 2,000 jobs over the next 10 years. years.
Guoxuan High Tech did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment.
