Sep 14 (Reuters) – Eastbound natural gas flows via the Yamal-Europe pipeline to Poland from Germany fell on Wednesday morning, while flows from Russia to Europe via Ukraine remained stable and the Nord Stream 1 gas pipeline remained closed .
The data showed that the output flow at the Malnov metering point on the German border of the Yamal pipeline was 1,841,394 kilowatt-hours (kWh/h) at 08:00-09:00 CET, compared to 4,608,609 kWh/h previously in the morning.
The drop in flows was in line with nominations or shippers’ requests.

Applications for the supply of Russian gas to Slovakia from Ukraine through the Velke-Kapusany border checkpoint on Wednesday amounted to 36.8 million cubic meters (thousand cubic meters).
Russian Gazprom (GASP.MM) said on Wednesday it would supply 42.4 million cubic meters of natural gas to Europe via Ukraine, the volume unchanged from yesterday, TASS reported, citing the company.
Flows through the Nord Stream 1 gas pipeline, which runs along the bottom of the Baltic Sea from Russia to Germany, remain zero.
Russia halted gas flows through Nord Stream on August 31 for three days of maintenance, but the pipeline never opened, with Moscow blaming Western sanctions and technical problems for supply disruptions. read more
