BERLIN, Sept 12 (Reuters) – Israel could supply about 10% of the gas Europe received from Russia last year, Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid said Monday in Berlin.
“We are going to take part in efforts to replace Russian gas in Europe,” Lapid said after meeting with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
The German leader said Germany was working on a gas import infrastructure to allow supplies from new partners as the country seeks to cut off supplies from Russia.
